BOLIN, Helen M. – Of Grand Blanc, age 80, died Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Minister Debbi Benjamin officiating. Cremation to follow service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Valley School or Holy Family School. Visitation 1-8pm Monday at the funeral home.

 Helen was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on October 14, 1929, to Enoch and Nettie Canterbury. She was beloved wife of Milton Bolin for 40 years. She retired after 15 years from Sears Credit Department. She attended/volunteered at Grand Blanc Senior Center. She was the most generous and kind hearted soul on this earth – a true “Saint Helen”. She will be remembered in all our hearts and cherished as part of ourselves.

 Much loved by daughters, Pamela and husband Yehoshah Ourshalimian, Cindy and husband Kevin Darcy and Karen Brown; Loving Nana to Max, Joshua, Michael, Shadassa and Adonya; Sisters, Pearl Slama, Freda Sielert and in-laws, Betty and Lee Farner and sister-in-law, Margaret Canterbury.

 She was preceded in death by husband, Milton, daughter Vicki and brothers, Floyd, Don and Enoch.
