EARLS, Corbie Eugene – Of Auburn Hills, formerly of Flint, age 65, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.

 Funeral service will be held 6pm Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Hank Messing officiating. Visitation 10am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Corbie was born in Sergent, Kentucky on September 17, 1944, the son of the late Corbie and Viola Earls, and was a resident of the Flint area most of his life. Corbie graduated from Ainsworth High School. He retired from General Motors V8 Engine Plant in 2000 after 38 ½ years of service and was a member of UAW Local #659.

 Surviving are 4 children, Adam Earls, Anita (Earls) Fanning, Alan Earls and Martha Earls; 4 grandchildren, Allissa Beller, Christopher Beller, Danny Earls and Samantha Earls; Sister, Betty Earls;

Former wife and mother of his children, Jean Myatt.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, J.W. and sister, Laverne.
