BLASDELL, Donna Jean – of Birch Run, age 80, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run, Rev. Ted McCulloch officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Donna was born July 19, 1929 in Sandwich, Ontario to the late Merlin and Gertrude (Comers) Sheffer and lived in Birch Run the past 20 years. She retired from Flint Osteopathic Hospital in 1991. As a young lady she was a Jobs Daughter.

Surviving are: her daughters Trudy and Terry, and her sons Larry and Gary along with their respective spouses. Also missing her are her 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; her dog and 2 cats, Abby, Amy and Andy.
