CISOWSKI, Betty Doris – Age 85, of Flint, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at her home after a courageous battle with Lewy Bodies Dementia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St. Flint. No public viewing prior to the start of the funeral Tuesday morning. Family will receive visitors from 12-8 p.m. Monday, March 15 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St., Flint. A 7 p.m. Scripture service will be held Monday evening. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Fr. T. Firestone officiating. Donations may be made to the Childrens Miracle Network and St. John Vianney School; donation envelopes provided at the funeral home. Betty was born December 12, 1924 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Frederick and Marie B. (Wojtkowiak) Clegg. She graduated from St. Michael Catholic School in 1942 and was joined in marriage to Stanley Cisowski October 6, 1956 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Betty worked as a senior teller for Genesee Bank with 29 years of service retiring in 1987. She was the director for the religious education at St. John Vianney during the 1970’s. Betty lived her life with grace and dignity caring about others more than herself. She is survived by her daughter, Karen and husband Randy Josey of Swartz Creek; son, Marty Cisowski of Flushing; three grandchildren, Nicholaus and Nichole Josey and Keegan Cisowski; sister-in-law, Agnes Tracy; several nieces, nephews; and many special friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Cisowski in May 1991, parents Frederick Clegg in January 1977 and Marie Clegg in March 1989.
