WENDLING, Elizabeth A. – of Spaulding Twp., age 65, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Medilodge of Montrose. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 17994 Lincoln Road New Lothrop, Fr. T.J. Fleming officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Saginaw Rescue Mission or the charity of one’s choice.

Elizabeth was born on November 6, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Leo and Armella (Eickholt) Schneider. She was a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital for over 30 years. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, traveling and gardening. She was a gentle, caring, selfless person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Elizabeth is survived by: sons, Curt (Lisa) Wendling of Bridgeport, Matt (Yvonne) Wendling of Lansing, Greg (Melissa) Wendling of Spaulding Twp.; 7 grandchildren; brother, Mike (Carol) Schneider; sisters, Mary (Vern) Albert, Diane (Orvo) Watia, Jane (Russell) Egge.
