
GRAVES, Harry M. – Of Flint, age 85, died Friday, March 26, 2010
at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 1p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 2210 N. Franklin Ave., Flint, Pastor Ernest Wendt officiating. Military Honors under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard. Visitation 3-8p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Graves will be at the church 12noon Monday until the time of the service.

Harry was born in Flint on April 5, 1924, and was a resident of Flint all his life. Harry served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Guadalcanal Campaign. He was employed for 42 years with Fisher Body I, retiring in 1988. He married Gaynell Haner on June 5, 1954. Harry was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are wife, Gaynell; Blessed with two sons, Dr. Scott Graves and Gale (Cheryl) Graves; 4 grandchildren, Lauren (Todd), Andrew, Christopher and Courtney; 2 sisters, Ruth Gould and Janice Skunda; Lou Ann Adamson, daughter-in-law; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Jeannine Hewitt and John and Patti Haner; Several nieces and nephews.
