KAMMER, Ruth (Rupaine) – of Davison, age 87, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church, 4040 Lapeer Rd., Burton, Pastor Susan Lidums officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday from 5-8 PM and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church or to the Genesee County Fair. Ruth was born in Paducah, KY on June 18, 1922 daughter of the late Benjamin and Carrie (Boyd) Carter. She married Roland Kammer on December 7, 1946 in Anchorville, MI. Ruth and her family joined Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church in 1958, where she was also a member of the Women of the ELCA. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed being on her farm and sewing. Ruth is survived by children, Deanna Kammer, Sheila (Duane) Gordon, Wayne Kammer, Rick Kammer, Rita Agar, Gail Viers; grandchildren, Jeff (Donna) Will, Ron (Nikki) and Rich (Dawnmarie) Mattson, Jennifer Edwards, Stephanie Boultinghouse, Ben Boultinghouse, Michael and Lisa House, Erin Kammer, Nick and Chris Agar, Justin and Brett Viers, Scott (Mariah) and Eric Gordon; great-grandchildren, Lori Kennedy, Kyle Woodburn, Amberly Edwards, Bailey, Zachary and Chase Mattson, Dominik Gordon.
