SCHATZLEY, Louise “Lou” Schatzley, of Davison age 85 died Friday April 2, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday April 6, 2010 at the Goodrich United Methodist Church 8071 S. State Goodrich. Pastor Ruth McKown officiating with burial following at Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday April 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Mrs. Schatzley will lie in state at the church from 10:00am Tuesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Louise’s name to the Church Memorial Fund or Genesys Hospice. Louise was born in Williford Arkansas July 11, 1924 the daughter of the late; Theodore & Minnie (Hyatt) Spurlock. She spent many years in Naples Fla. and the Burton –Davison area. She was joined in marriage to Walter Schatzley in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a member of the Goodrich United Methodist Church. Surviving are children; Gary Rodney Tompkins, Denise (Dale) Miller, and Kandra (Herb) Boyd. Grandchildren; Michael Boyd and Leslie (Tony) Cicalo. Great grandchildren; Brendan Cicalo and Averie Cicalo, and a host of other relatives and special companion Angel. She is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
