ROSEBROCK, Donald J. – of Birch Run, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center. He was 67 years of age.

Don was born May 20, 1943 in Bay City to the late Alfred and Alta (Shilton) Rosebrock. He resided in Birch Run since 1979. He married Sharon Kranick on October 10, 1964. Mr. Rosebrock retired from Saginaw Gray Iron in 1989. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and held many positions at the church. He was also a member of the UAW. Don was formerly a Cub Master and was active in Boy Scouts for many years.

Surviving are: wife, Sharon; children, Darren (Paula) Rosebrock of Coleman, Donna Rosebrock of Saginaw; 2 grandchildren who were raised as his children, Julie Rosebrock of Saginaw, Joe Rosebrock of Birch Run; great-grandchild, Emma Rosebrock of Saginaw; brothers and sister, Alfred (Muriel) Rosebrock of Saginaw, John Rosebrock of Bridgeport, JoAnn Letzkus of Midland; sister-in-law Patricia Rosebrock; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Irma Reese; brother, Franklin Rosebrock; sister-in-law Joann Rosebrock; brother-in-law, Edward Letzkus.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, March 4, 2011 at Christ Lutheran Church, 8101 Poellet Rd., Birch Run. Rev. Dr. Richard Hillenbrand officiating. Burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run on Wednesday from 6-8PM, and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. He will lie instate at the church on Friday from 10AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to the family.
