EWKA, Sandra K. – Of Flint, age 68, died Thursday, February 17, 2011 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 12-8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Sandra was born in Flint, Michigan on September 17, 1942 and was a resident of Flint all of her life. She married Constantine Ewka on June 9, 1962. She was a very active member of the Holiday Ramblers Travel Club and was a member of the White Shrine. Mrs. Ewka was employed by AC Spark Plug Division, retiring in 1976. Surviving are husband, Constantine “Connie”; three daughters, Shawn Ewka, Shannon Ewka, Sheley (Abe) Erspamer; six grandchildren; sister, Clara Jo (Norman) Spoor; her cherished dog, Stoli; six grand-puppies; three grand-kitties; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruby (Kenslow) Land; two sisters, Jean and Louise.
