LAWSON, Eugene H. – of Davison, age 71, passed away February 16, 2011 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am Monday, February 21, 2011 at Judson Baptist Church, 4471 E. Atherton Rd., Burton; Pastor Greg Rowan officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am-2 pm and 4-8 pm Saturday; 2-7 pm Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Judson Baptist Church Missions.

Eugene was born in Flint on November 26, 1939, son of the late Harold and Roline (Bartram) Lawson. He married his high school sweetheart, Anita Darby, on September 20, 1958. Eugene was a member of Judson Baptist Church. He and Anita enjoyed owning and operating Potter Lake Shore Campground. Eugene was a Meat Cutter for 51 years.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Anita; daughters, Cindy (Arndt) Weierstahl and Cherie Kukielka; grandchildren, Cassandra Kukielka, Krystal, Katarina, Kaytie, Krysti, Kristian Weierstahl; sister, Nancy Mathews and her family. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Christopher Kukielka; brother, James Lawson and father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Doris Darby.
