ROSS, Carl A. Jr. – of Grand Blanc, age 57, passed away February 19, 2011 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Max Hayden officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday and Tuesday. A Memorial Service will be held 7 PM Tuesday by the Davison Masonic Lodge F & AM #236. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison Masonic Center #236.

Carl was born in Flint, MI on April 30, 1953, son of Carl and Betty (Slusser) Ross Sr. He married Arlene Gerding on February 5, 1977. Carl was a Pastmaster of the Davison Masonic Center #236, past director of the Shrine Security Detail, and off ice official for the Flint Generals for many years. He started in 1977 for the Flint Police Department and had disability retirement in 1980.

Carl is survived by wife, Arlene; children, Melissa (Bob) Metcalf, Carla (Randy) Meier,Carl Ross III of CA; grandchildren, John, Chelsae, Justin, Kaitlyn, Donaven, Hadlee, Aimee; brothers, Steve (Marilyn), Brad (Kathy), Brian (Bridget), Terry (Chris); several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl.
