CRANE, James – Of Mt. Morris, age 55, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. A memorial service will be held 5pm Tuesday April 6, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Visitation 3pm Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

James was born in Flint on February 12, 1955, and was a resident of Mt. Morris most of his life. On December 28, 1974, he married Sheila Belton. James was employed with GM Power Train from 1978, retiring in 2009. He was also a member of UAW Local #599.

Surviving are wife, Sheila; Daughter, Stefani and husband Tony Rusch; Step-mother, Jean Crane; Brother, Ed and wife Bev Crane; Sister, Linda and husband Mark Cline and sister Kathy; 2 step-sisters; 1 step-brother.

He was preceded in death by son, Jason, parents Maurice and Betty Joe.
