WHITE, Amalia (Amy) – Of Flint, age 46, lost her battle to cancer on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, March 29, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

Visitation 4-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Amalia was born in the Philippines on May 6, 1963.

Surviving are 4 children, Angela (Eric) Stallworth, Amy Marie White, Joseph Camero and Jeremy White; step-children, James White, Krystal White, Joey (Beth) Camero and Randy (Dominee) Camero; 10 grandchildren; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; and significant other Perry Caldwell.

She was preceded in death by husband James Lloyd White.

KILDEA, Tom Michael, age 53, of Lennon, MI passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Owosso, MI on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., Rev. Fr. John Fain will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. and Friday, March 26, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel, Corunna, MI. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. on Friday evening.

Tom was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 23, 1956, the son of Joseph and Mildred (Gewirtz) Kildea. He graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1974. Tom was a farmer all of his life and farmed the family homestead land. He liked to hunt, fish and be outdoors doing his chores. Tom was very active with his animals in the F.F.A. at the fairgrounds. He resided all of his life in the Shiawassee county area. He was a Captain on the Venice Township Fire Department where he has served the community for over 32 years. Tom was a First Responder with the D.V.A. and was a trustee for the Venice Township Board. He also served on the Homeland Security Team for Shiawassee County. Tom attended St. Paul’s Catholic Church Owosso, MI.
He is survived by his father Joseph Kildea of Corunna, his siblings; Darl Kildea of Corunna, MI, Darlene Kildea-Pahl of Spring Lake, MI, Ann and Steve Rygiel of Chesaning, MI, Jim and Beth Kildea of Evart, MI, Shirley and Ted Bocek of Corunna, MI, several nieces and nephews and one aunt Pauline Gasper of Chesaning, MI. He was predeceased by his mother Mildred in 2001.

CALL, Jerrod A., age 27 of Swartz Creek, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00am until the time of the service.

Jerrod was born on May 12, 1982 in Flint, Michigan the son of Alan and Joann (Wallace) Call. He attended High School in Durand and was attending Mott Community College in Flint where he was in the Nursing Program.

Jerrod was a great musician, father and published poet.

He is survived by his son, Jorden; father, Alan; 8 siblings: Jeff Chappell, Mark (Karen) Chappell, Stacy (Carl) Turner, Julie Williams, Chad (Rosy) Call, Jeremy (Sarah) Call, Tara Call, Krista Call; 15 nephews and nieces; aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lisa and mother Joann.
