ROUMPZ, Michael D., age 63 of Laingsburg passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, Laingsburg Chapel with Chaplin Steve Ezop officiating. Family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Laingsburg Cemetery.

Michael was born on December 31, 1946 in Hazel Park, MI, the son of Daniel and Ella (Fitchett) Roumpz. Michael served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era. On November 3, 1969 he married Peggy McMahan in Toledo, OH. He was retired from the Village of Lathrup where he worked maintance.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, three children, Tim (Laura) Roumpz of Haslett, Jason (Karen)Roumpz of Warren and Scott (Christina) Roumpz of Warren, five grandchildren, Jonathan, Brisban, Jenna, Jeffrey and Gracie, he was one of nine children. HACK, Mrs. Joanne A. (Sylvester) of Vassar MI passed away late Wednesday evening March 3, 2010 while at the Rendons Adult Foster Care in Caro Mi Joanne was 73.

Joanne A. Sylvester the daughter of the late Daniel & Agnes (Cheff) Sylvester was born in Saginaw Mi on May 16 1936. In 1962 Joanne married her husband of 40 years Mr. Lloyd L. Hack.

Lloyd precedes her in death in November of 2004.

Joanne also leaves her grandchildren, Tammy Morris, Sarah Schwab, Daniel & Christopher Carisle, Bridget Carisle, Todd Angle, Joel Angle, Deedra Angle, and Drew Boulton, as well as several great grandchildren a brother Tom Sylvester, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

FERGUSON, Mildred Irene “Millie” of Davison age 82 died wednesday March 3, 2010 at her residence. Ferguson.

BLASDELL, Donna Jean – of Birch Run, age 80, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run, Rev. Ted McCulloch officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Donna was born July 19, 1929 in Sandwich, Ontario to the late Merlin and Gertrude (Comers) Sheffer and lived in Birch Run the past 20 years. She retired from Flint Osteopathic Hospital in 1991. As a young lady she was a Jobs Daughter.

Surviving are: her daughters Trudy and Terry, and her sons Larry and Gary along with their respective spouses. Also missing her are her 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; her dog and 2 cats, Abby, Amy and Andy.
