WYATT, Helen – of Flint, age 71, passed away February 26, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital – McLaren. A Funeral Service will be held 4 PM Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, Pastor Ronald Scarbo officiating. Burial will be 1 PM Monday, March 1, 2010 at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 11am-2pm and 4-8pm Saturday; 2-4pm Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

Helen was born in Marion, N.C. on May 8, 1938, daughter of Arland and Lilly (Pittman) Wyatt. She owned and operated Claudean & Caroline BarBQ and Piece of Chicago.

Helen is survived by her mother, Lilly Hyatt / life companion, John Klobucar; children, Debra (Tony) Tylus; grandchildren, Angela (Vic) Lackey-Jenkins, Jessica Johns; great-grandaughter, Amelia Lackey-Jenkins; sisters, Barbara Hollifield, Deloris Pendley, Pat Wyatt, Linda (Jack) Dillingham, Geraldean Roy, Robin (Skip) Greenman; brother, Bill Hyatt; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Wyatt and Robert Hyatt.

MURPHY, Deborah Ann (Debbie Zbiciak) – Of Fenton, age 46, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1pm Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide, Fenton, Reverend Father Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a college fund for her children. Visitation 4-8pm Sunday, 11am-4pm and 6-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Debbie will be at the church 12noon Tuesday until the time of the Mass.

 Debbie was born in Flint on May 17, 1963, the daughter of Raymond and Katherine (Boze) Zbiciak. On October 21, 1994, she married Shawn Murphy in Davison. Debbie was employed with Hewlett Packard Company for over 23 years. She was also a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. A loving wife and mother of 4, sister and daughter, she was very active in her children’s lives especially soccer and dance.

 Surviving are husband, Shawn; daughters, Mackenzie, Makayla, Lauren and Shelby; Mother, Katherine Zbiciak; Brothers, Mark (Nancy) Zbiciak and Robert (Ellen) Zbiciak; Brothers-in-law, Marcus Murphy, Richard (Jodi) Murphy, John (Kim) Murphy and Shane (Heather) Murphy; Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Del and Pat Murphy; Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; Very special friends Tony and Laurie Luna. The family would like to thank the many caring neighbors and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Zbiciak and special Aunt, Helen Boze.

JOZWIAK, Janet E. of Burton age 75 passed away Thursday February 25, 2010 in Cleveland, Ohio. There will be no visitation or services. Private burial in Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring may make contribution to the American Diabetes Association. She was born in Birch Run, MI September 13, 1934 the daughter of the late Joe and Rosetta (McKinstry) Hopkins and reside in Burton area most of her life. Janet married Albert Jozwiak November 7, 1953. She worked for Bentley Community School before retiring in 1990. Surviving are husband Albert, daughter Elaine (Gary) Sanford, grandchild Albert Sanford and great grandchildren: Hailey and Hunter Sanford.

JABLONSKI, Mark Allen – age 55, of Scottsdale, AZ., formerly of Davison, passed away February 24, 2010 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am Monday, March 1, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 pm Saturday and Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:30 pm under the auspices of the Knights of Columbus #695. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Building Fund.

Mark was born in Flint on June 26, 1954, son of George and Frances (Romanowski) Jablonski. He attended St. Agnes and St. John Catholic Churches. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Knights of Columbus Council 659 and the Carpenters Union. Mark was a Building Inspector. He also worked at his family owned bakery. Mark was a partner in U.S. Turf in Scottsdale, AZ. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He was well loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Mark is survived by his mother, Frances; siblings, Rick, Cathy, Brian and Jim; goddaughter and niece, Sara and her sister, Cassie; very special people, Jay Jablonski and Tabitha Smith; many other family members and friends too numerous to count. He was preceded in death by his father, George and many aunts and uncles.
