Monday, March 7th, 2011FROST, Tracey (Watts) – Of Flint, age 51, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Make A Wish Foundation. Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday, 10am-2pm and 4-8pm Wednesday and 12 noon Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Tracey was born in Flint on October 31, 1959, the daughter of Shirley Arlene Shaffer. Tracey married Robert Frost on July 26, 1986 in Flint. She was a member of the Arrowhead Vets Club. Tracey enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. Surviving are husband, Robert; daughter, Lisa Watts of Flint; grandson, Tyler Watts of Flint; mother, Shirley Arlene Shaffer of Burton; sisters, Sherrie Dewar and Neil Decker of Flint and Dorothy Kerperien of Burton; father-in-law, Bill Frost of Flint; several sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by son, Jimmy Watts, grandparents, Melvin and wife Mildred Hays, mother-in-law, Irene Frost.

Monday, March 7th, 2011MALINICH, Eunice Esther – 90, of Flint, went to her new home with Jesus on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Durand Senior Care. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11-2 and 3-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born July 30, 1920. Eunice leaves behind; four children, Steve W. (Dorothy) Malinich, Dorann (James) Sullivan, Velma (Bill) Brown, Vicky L. Bednarski; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Bradley Smith Memorial Fund for his children’s education. Brad was born September 17, 1965 in Flint, the son of Raymond and Barbara (Uhrig) Smith. He was a 1983 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. Brad married Kathleen Bednar on August 6, 1988. He was employed at Advanced Gun Range. Brad loved hockey and golf and was the neighborhood grill master. Surviving are: wife, Kathleen of Fenton; two children, Bailey and Emma; parents, Raymond “Buck” and Barbara Smith; brother, Brett Smith and wife, Tracey and their children, Taylor, Tyler, Madeline and Max; mother-in-law, Mary Bednar of Grand Blanc; brother-in-law, Jeff Bednar and wife, Lynn of Naples, FL and their children, Tyler and Emily; sister-in-law, Marcia and husband, Tim Robb of Troy and their children, Noah, Elizabeth and Will. Sunday, March 6th, 2011HARDEN #17, Adam Kevin, (Savoie) age 22, of Fenton formerly of Gaines, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011. Services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Fr. Mark Inglot officiating. The family will receive friends 3:00 p.m. Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities. Adam was born September 29, 1988 in Flint the son of Kevin Leroy and Elizabeth (Savoie) Harden. He graduated in 2006 from Swartz Creek High School. Adam loved riding Motocross (#17) and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a loving son, brother and grandson, who will be missed dearly and remembered always. Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth; sister, Kelli Rene’ Harden; grandfather, Peter Savoie; great-grandparents, Jack and Georgine Easton; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin in 2010; grandmother, Patricia Savoie; and great-grandmother, Audry Easton.
