MARTINUS, Theresa (Bisaha) – of Mt. Morris, age 56, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:30 pm Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 11110 N. Saginaw, Mt. Morris; Fr. Thomas Nenneau officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 pm Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, checks payable to Catherine Bisaha.

Theresa was born in Flint, MI on April 18, 1954, daughter of Bernard and Catherine (Lentz) Bisaha. She was a former member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. Theresa is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a former member of the Girl Scouts.

Theresa is survived by her son, Lawrence Martinus; mother, Catherine Bisaha; siblings, Joe (Ann) Bisaha, Matthew (Diane) Bisaha, Linda (Joe) Langevin, Alice (Larry) Oliver, Patrick Bisaha; many, many nieces and nephews.

BENAWAY, Fredrick – of Davison, age 64, passed away February 25, 2011 at Brian’s House Hospice of Davison. A Funeral Service will be held 11 am Monday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 S. Genesee Rd., Burton; Rev. Daniel Wonderly officiating. Military Honors will follow the service at the church. Visitation will be 1-8 pm Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Monday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church where he was a member.

Fred was born in Alpena, MI on July 18, 1946, son of the late Loren and Dorothy (Schrah) Benaway. He proudly served his country with the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Fred married Frances Fox on November 23, 1966. He was a former Grand Blanc City and Township Police Officer. Fred owned and operated New Dimensions for 19 years.

Fred is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter Kelly Benaway and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Benaway.
