Thursday, February 24th, 2011VAN TOL, Wendy Marie – of Flint, age 42, passed away February 22, 2011 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2 pm Friday, February 25, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 11 am until 2 pm Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Wendy was born in Flint on April 18, 1968, the daughter of Robert and Carolyn Lucas. Wendy Lucas married Ricky Van Tol on November 19, 1994.
Wendy is survived by husband, Ricky; daughters, Emilee and Kaitlyn; son, Brandon; her parents; brother, Michael Oswald and wife; lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. Her grandparents preceded her in death. Wendy, we all love you very much.

LAMONT, Cameron Allan – 18
Thursday, February 24th, 2011LAMONT, Cameron “Cam” Allan 18, of Hemlock, died Sunday, February 20, 2011, at the Uchee Pines Institute in Seale, Alabama after a 3 year courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 7, 1992 in Saginaw, son of Gary and Jennifer (Myers) Lamont. Cam had attended school at Hemlock High School until his health would no longer allow. He loved electronics and technology, along with his job at Radio Shack with Dennis. Cam enjoyed snowboarding with his dad and brothers and hanging out with friends. Cameron’s family are members of Messiah Lutheran Church in Midland and he was a member of the SADD organization with Hemlock High School. Cam’s dream was to visit New York, which came true with the help of Chef Dave and the Stanton Island Family. Surviving in addition to his parents Gary and Jennifer, are his three brothers, Matt Makowski, Garret Lamont, Harrison Lamont; grandparents, Dan and Toni Myers of Apache Junction, AZ., Jim and Ruth Lamont of Saginaw; great grandmother, Lila Myers of Midland; Godparents, Cleatis Jr. and Jennifer Manor; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. Cam was predeceased by grandparents, Ken Myers, Debra (Bower) Myers, Donald and Joyce Bower, Carl and Doris Moon and Charles and Genevive Lamont.
~FUNERAL~ Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2011 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Midland. Pastor John Langewisch and D.C.E. Dave Pendley will officiate with burial in Midland Cemetery.
~VISITATION~ Cam’s family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Thursday, February 24th, 2011DAVIS, William “Bill” – Of Davison, age 66, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 4p.m. Saturday February 26, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Carl A. Simon officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation 1-3P.M. and 5-8P.M. Friday and 1p.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Bill was born in Flint on August 13, 1944, son of the late George and Anne (Holicki) Davis. On August 17, 2001, he married Gail in Naples, Florida the most wonderful woman, wife, and friend a person could ever ask for. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and landscaping. He retired from automobile sales and spent his entire career in car sales in Genesee County. Bill was past President of the Flint Area Independent Auto Dealers Association. Surviving are wife, Gail; Sons, Brad and Darren Davis; Step-children, Gerri (Mike) Spencer, Kevin (Jamie) Riddle, Michelle (Kirk) Hinkins, Danielle (Brian) McKay, Ryan Phillips; Family friends, Vaso Mirtsopoulos, Jamie Sprague; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; Sister, Jill Orvis; Brother, Curt (Teresa) Davis; Very special aunt Kaye Holicki;

Thursday, February 24th, 2011BARD, Pauline Lora – age 86, of Flint, died February 21, 2011 at Maple Wood Manor of Clio. Services will be held 2pm Saturday February 26, at West Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jahovah’s Witnesses, 1187 S. Dye Rd, Flint. Minister Derek Marsh, officiating. Visitation will be held 12-2 and 4-8PM Friday, February 25, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York.
Mrs. Bard was born May 2, 1924, in Milaca, MN, the daughter of the late Russell J. and Martha M. (Nelson) Oskey. She married Russell F. Bard on June 9, 1945 in Atlas, MI. Mrs. Bard was a great wife, mother , grandmother, great-grandmother and enjoyed square dancing, cooking and baking. Surviving are: Husband of 65 years, Russell of Flint; Daughters, Susan (Michael) Townsend of Flint, Linda (Dennis) Lovejoy of Lennon, Bonnie Melton of Flint; grandchildren, Dwight (Amira), Fymshelle, Jaime (Greg), Raymond (Michelle), Geneyce (Tarree); great-grandchildren, Garrett, Avery, Carter, Tyler, Jayme; brother, David (Kathleen) Oskey of Flint and many neices and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her infant, sisters, Elaine Shaw, Doris Clink and Irene Martin; brothers, Donald, Bob, Van, Mel Oskey.
