ROBINSON, Robert J. – of Davison, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 1 pm on February 26, 2011 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3499 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint; Pastor Thomas Dunseth and Pastor Brant Engel co-officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 pm and 5-8 pm Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Saturday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church or Michigan School for the Deaf.
Bob was born in Owosso, MI on October 30, 1928, son of the late Robert and Marjorie (Chaffee) Robinson. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and Flint Association for the Deaf. Bob was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. Bob was always there to lend a helping hand. He worked for Buick for 38 years and was a member of UAW Local #599.
Bob is survived by his children, Thom (Pat), Joe (Kim), Ken, Julie (John) Randolph; grandchildren, Rob, Brooke, Jessica, Megan, Michael, Alyssa, Trent, Shayla, Michael, Lauren; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Andrew and Alex; sisters, Bettie (Gene) Price, Joanne (Bond) Ruddock; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Suzanne Robinson.

HATFIELD, Lewis “Lewi” age 69, of Kingston, MI passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at home with his family. The family will receive visitors 10 -11 A.M. Friday, February 25, 2011 with a Memorial Service beginning 11 A.M. at the Mayville United Methodist Church with Pastor Keith Mead officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #181, and Mayville/Vassar VFW Post #10884. Burial will take place at Rich Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund. Lewis was born April 21, 1941 to Frank and Delie (Cline) Hatfield in Gilbert Creek, West Virginia. He served our country in the US Marine Corp where he met his future wife. Lewis married Mary Dickerson March 2, 1962 in Georgia. He retired from General Motors with 24 years of service. Lewis loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and also enjoyed hunting, and fishing, He is survived by two children; Darren (Angela) Hatfield of North Branch, MI, Teresa Van Horn of Kingston, MI, one brother; Richard (Sandy) Hatfield of West Virginia, one sister-in-law; Evelyn Hatfield of West Virginia, five grandchildren; Brandon Winquest, Megan Vanderpoel, Christopher Gillis, Lisa Mullins, Blake VanHorn, four great grandchildren, and special friends; Mike Smith, Caroline Grimshaw, Art Fultz, and Clifford (Rose) Knox. CROWE, Barbara E. – of Davison, age 68, passed away February 21, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 am Friday, February 25, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, MI. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. On Friday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Barbara was born in Detroit, MI on February 16, 1943, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kirchner) Bauer. She loved creating ceramics, knitting and doing other crafts.Barbara is survived by her husband, Joseph Kevin Crowe; children, David (Debbie) Crowe, Lynn (Joseph) Perrera and Kimberly (Christopher) Jarman; eleven grandchildren; siblings, Cleo (Michael) Ekstrom, Joann (Fred) Galbraith and Charles (Joan) Bauer.
